About

Marketing leader who learned to code.

I spent the first decade of my career in digital marketing — SEO, CRO, analytics, paid media. I was good at it, and I liked it, but I kept running into the same wall: the best marketing strategies are limited by what your tech stack can actually do.

So I started building. Not toy projects — real applications that solve real problems. A personal finance app with bank sync and duplicate detection. A competitive Minecraft server with Redis-backed matchmaking. An SEO intelligence platform that replaces a 3,000-row spreadsheet.

Today I lead a team of eight at insightsoftware, where I'm directing a full website migration to a modern headless stack while simultaneously building internal tools with AI as a core development partner. The thread that connects everything: I build systems that make digital marketing smarter, faster, and more measurable.

Timeline

2015–2019

Digital Marketing Foundations

Built expertise across SEO, CRO, paid media, and web analytics. Learned to think in systems — how channels compound when they're connected.

Marketing Leadership

Moved into leadership, managing teams and agencies while driving web strategy across multiple business units. Started seeing the gap between marketing ambition and technical execution.

2022–2024

Learning to Build

Picked up React, TypeScript, Astro, and Node.js. Built Ledger (a personal finance app) and Kit Wars (a Minecraft game server) to learn by shipping real things — not tutorials.

2024–Now

AI-Augmented Everything

Leading a website migration to a headless stack, building Meridian (an SEO intelligence platform), and using Claude and Copilot as daily development partners. The gap between marketing and engineering is closing.
